Community Involvement
Habitat for Humanity
Black Roofing & Waterproofing proudly partners alongside Habitat for Humanity in their commitment to help build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our contribution to building strong and stable homes comes with the roofs we donate for the new housing recipients. Black Roofing & Waterproofing understands when we advocate with Habitat for Humanity, we are helping to change systems and policies in the U.S., and also working alongside people in our community.
In Spring of 2021 we partnered with Berthoud Habitat for Humanity by donating labor and materials for roofs on new homes. Berthoud Habitat for Humanity continues to fulfill a mission for the welfare of low-income people who have inadequate housing by making low-cost housing available to them.

Gulf Eagle President’s Club Award
Black Roofing & Waterproofing is honored to be presented with the 2020 President’s Club Award and be recognized as an exceptional and outstanding contractor. The award is highly selective and only recognizes a few contractors and leaders in the roofing and construction industry.
Versico
For the 12th year consecutively Black Roofing & Waterproofing has received the Versico Gold Medal Quality Award. The Gold Medal Quality Program identifies the Versico Contractors who have set themselves apart by providing high-quality installations on a consistent basis. We are honored to be included in this elite group of roofing professionals.
National Roofing Contractors Association
NRCA Gold Circle Safety Award recognizes outstanding workmanship, innovative solutions, safety preparedness and performance. Black Roofing & Waterproofing is among the nationwide winning companies that have been recognized for their achievements. The Gold Circle Award winners are the projects with the highest-ranking scores. Along with receiving formal recognition at NRCA’s Industry Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception, winners also receive a Gold Circle Award trophy, recognition in Professional Roofing magazine, and press releases notifying industry trade press and local media.
Mortenson
The STAR Awards program acknowledges trade partners for outstanding contributions to Mortenson projects. Black Roofing & Waterproofing received the STAR Award because they are a trade partner that sets themselves apart through their commitment to quality, excellence and innovation.
